Information regarding the upcoming rides at the highly anticipated Super Nintendo World theme park at Universal Studios Japan has leaked on the internet.

The leaked videos were spotted by fans on streaming platform Vimeo earlier this week. Footage appeared to be from an unreleased prototype for Super Nintendo World’s official site. Specific information regarding rides - including the previously announced Mario Kart-themed ride and omnimover Yoshi’s Adventure - was listed, as well as images that appear to be from the rides themselves.

Viewers have speculated that the footage was likely uploaded by a web designer for Super Nintendo World’s page. Twitter user ThomasPussyCat uploaded the videos and images to Twitter, though his tweets have since been deleted. Additionally, the original videos have also been removed. However, the footage still remains on platforms like YouTube and Dailymotion.

From the data, it appears the Mario Kart-themed ride will be called “Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge.” Each car can hold up to four people, riders must be at least 42", and the ride time is about five minutes long. The site describes the ride as, “A number of courses full of surprises, appear in front of you with the latest technology unique to the park!” The site even contained a few images that show what the finished ride could look like.

The other confirmed ride for the park is “Yoshi’s Adventure.” The site describes the ride with the following: “Get on Yoshi’s back, follow Captain Kinopio and set off on a treasure hunt adventure, look at the mushroom kingdom from Mount Beanpole and have fun!” Supposedly, the area the ride will be in will also feature a restaurant named Kinopio’s Cafe.

Additionally, the site listed information about an app called “Mobile Mario” which will allow park guests to link their smartphone to various interactive areas in the park, turning the entire Super Nintendo World into a giant, real-live Mario game.

Super Nintendo World is an upcoming theme park based on the Mario franchise that was slated to open at Universal Studios Japan this summer. While its opening date has been delayed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic, a new opening date will be announced sometime this fall.
