SUPERHOT Team has recently announced that Superhot: Mind, Control, Delete, the spin-off to its innovative 2016 shooter, will be releasing on July 16, 2020, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One for $24.99. A roguelike/horde-mode take on the slow-motion puzzle-esque original, this new game will be free to anyone that owns the original Superhot.

The title originally went into early access on Steam back in 2017 as an experiment for expanding the brand. It carried a $24.99 price tag to help fund development. The team promised that anyone that owned the original would receive it for free and is sticking to that promise all these years later. Talk about being plain awesome.

Mind, Control, Delete will eventually make its way to Switch later in 2020. On PC, you’ll be able to grab it from Steam, GOG, Origin, and the Epic Games Store. If everything goes well, I wouldn’t be surprised to hear of a VR iteration happening in the future.

If you’re worried about missing a cut-off for getting a free copy, you still have some time to grab Superhot on your platform of choice. The Steam Summer Sale recently ended, but GreenManGaming is running a 10% discount on the game. $22.50 for two shooters is hardly a bad deal, especially when the original is so great.
