After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Vite Ramen is well on its way to perfecting the instant-ramen formula. The team is composed of passionate gamers who just so happen to have a wealth of experience in culinary arts, clinical nutrition, and the world of business.

Ethical and exciting work environment aside, the ramen itself is among the best on the market. Vite Ramen was kind enough to send a few samples out to us, and it’s clearly head and shoulders above the competition. Three flavors are currently offered — Garlic Pork Tonkotsu, Vegan White Miso, Roasted Soy Sauce Chicken — and all of them make a perfect meal between bouts of Counter-Strike. They can be prepped from start to finish in less than ten minutes, are incredibly filling, and don’t require an extensive clean-up routine.
Better yet, they’re a surprisingly nutritious food option. Joan Frank, Registered Dietitian, says that Vite Ramen is a “high protein, nutritionally complete meal,” and it’s a perfect choice for “anyone wanting a quick, nutritious meal.” A single pack of Roasted Soy Sauce Chicken contains 500 calories, 575mg of Sodium, 2g of sugar, and 31g of protein. Vite Ramen is constantly tweaking it’s formula and searching for that ‘perfect ramen.’ Each modification comes with a complete set of ‘Patch Notes’ that include hilarious comments such as “MORE BETTER” and “A new patch will go live on Windows PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.”
A 9-pack of ramen can be purchased for $35.91, making a bit on the pricey side for ramen but still an affordable meal that can be enjoyed without fuss. And, knowing you’re supporting an ethical company full of like-minded people makes it easier to justify the price.
