Yet another talented New Horizons player has transformed his entire island to be just like Melemele island from Pokémon Sun & Moon.

Now that Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been out for a few weeks, we’re starting to see players embark on some truly astounding endeavors. We’ve already seen one player transform their island into Hyrule from Link to the Past, while another player recreated Pallet Town on their New Horizons island.

Here we have yet another example of what you can accomplish using New Horizons’ terraforming tools. This player recreated Pokémon Sun & Moon’s Melemele Island, one of the four major islands of the Alola region

In an interview with GameXplain, we get to take a tour of the island where the creator even dressed themselves up as Lillie. GameXplain lands in Hau’oli City before being taken on a quick tour of the island, heading down Route 1 to see Big Wave Beach and other locations from the game.

The island isn’t quite a 1:1 scale recreation and some of the buildings in the game were replaced by Animal Crossing features, such as the Poké Center being replaced by the campsite. Also, some locations in the anime (such as Lillie’s Mansion and the school) were added when they’re not actually present in the game.

All in all, this is incredible and well worth a look. Take a tour of Melemele island in the video above.
