Talisman: Star Wars is the name of the first roll-and-move board game set in the Star Wars universe, and it will feature characters and events from all three eras, banded together to defeat Emperor Palpatine. Alternatively, you can join him - who are we to tell you what to do?

Talisman is a fantasy-themed board game, first released in 1983, which has been through several revisions since then. Star Wars is definitely not the first themed edition of the game: Talisman: Batman Super-Villains Edition and Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition have both been out since last year, to general acclaim.

The game is the product of a partnership between USAopoly and Games Workshop. It features twelve playable characters, including Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Rey, Kylo Ren, Count Dooku, and Obi-Wan Kenobi - and you get to choose your own path by having Vader take a stand against Palpatine or Obi-Wan, after they compete in a circuitous race while collecting items of power along the way.

The game is designed for 2-6 players, ages 13 and up, plays in 90-120 minutes, and is available in European, Middle Eastern, and African regions for $69.99. This is the team’s second Star Wars-themed game, following the cooperative card and dice game Star Wars: Dark Side Rising - t’s a perfect way to stay home without getting bored.
