Dragon-Type Pokémon are known for their incredible strength and for being hard to catch. Many Dragon-Types are powerful but there are also a bunch that are super cute. Tiny dragons running around with some incredibly strong moves at their disposal are adorable to watch and although there aren’t too many cute Dragon-Types in the Pokémon world, the ones that do exist are enough to make any trainer’s heart melt.

This list will show fans of Pokémon ten different Dragon-Types that are so adorable they’ll be wishing they could catch one in real life. From tiny serpents to gooey slugs, here are ten of the cutest Dragon-Type Pokémon in existence!

10 Goomy

Introduced in Gen VI, Goomy is a small Dragon-Type Pokémon that is pink in color. Goomy is known for being the weakest Dragon-Type Pokémon and although its final evolution, Goodra is quite strong. It has a slug-like body with a nervous expression on its face and it has the most adorable green cheeks!

Goomy earns a spot on this list for being one of the Cutest Dragon-Types because of it’s small sluggish appearance. If a trainer wants a cute slug, they can definitely stop looking after catching this gooey creature!

9 Bagon

Bagon is the first Pokémon in Salamence’s line of evolution. It’s blue with small stubby arms and it stands on two legs. This Dragon-Type may have a less than friendly facial expression but it’s a lovable little scamp once it gets acquainted with its trainer.

Dragon-Types usually look more like dragons however this Pokémon is small and more humanoid in appearance but that doesn’t mean it’s not a little cutie. Bagon also has some strong dragon-type moves at its disposal. This Pokémon is both adorable and a tough fighter which makes it a perfect candidate for this list.

8 Dratini

This Gen I fan-favorite is one of the most iconic Dragon-Type Pokémon in the franchise. It has a beautiful serpent-like body with a light blue color scheme. Most creatures couldn’t pull off looking like a sea serpent while also being adorable which is what makes this pokemon such a sight to behold.

Dratini is also the first pokemon in Dragonite’s line of evolution. Dratini evolves into an extremely powerful Pokémon, this combined with Dratini’s majestic and cute appearance helps create one of the most adorable little Dragon-Type Pokémon in the franchise.

7 Deino

Deino is a dual Dragon/Dark-Type Pokémon with a dinosaur-themed design. Its skin is blue and it has a large about of black hair covering the top of its body and its eyes. This pokemon has a child-like dinosaur appearance which is such a cute combination.

There aren’t many dinosaur Pokémon that aren’t Dragon-Types in the Pokémon world so Denino was a welcome addition to the roster in Gen V. The one major disadvantage of this Pokémon is that it doesn’t evolve at all until level 50. However that just means that trainers get to have more time with their cutie-pie Deino.

6 Gible

Gible is a tiny shark Pokémon that stands on two legs and has six sharp teeth. It is a dual Dragon/Ground-Type. Its large mouth is what this pokemon uses in a battle to defeat its enemies. Gible is the first evolution to the Garchomp line of evolution which is one of the strongest pokemon introduced in Gen IV.

In the anime, Ash had a Gible and its personality was cute but tough when the situation called for it and it helped Ash fight many of his battles in Sinnoh. Iris also happened to have a Gible. Gible deserves a spot on this list for being the cutest little shark any trainers ever saw!

5 Axew

Axew is another dino-like Pokémon from Gen V. It is one of Unova’s cutest Pokémon and an extremely cute baby Dragon-Type. It is green in color with adorable red eyes. Its child-like appearance and tiny oval-shaped head make for one infatuating Dragon-Type pokemon.

Axew is one of Gen V’s mascots because it was Iris’s partner Pokémon in the anime. In the anime it was shy and clumsy but a perfect partner for Iris. There aren’t many dragon cuties that are as adorable as Axew, this is a perfect Pokémon for anybody who likes cute Dragon-Types.

4 Jangmo-o

Jangmo-o is a grey and brown Pokémon introduced in Gen VII with a small body and adorable cute head. It has a yellow heart above its head and tail with a yellow ball on the end of it. It is yet-another dino-themed Dragon-Type and at this point it’s evident that dinosaurs and dragons go hand in hand. Jangmo-o’s shiny color scheme is yellow and pink.

Jangmo-o evolves twice eventually into Kommo-o which is an extremely strong dual Dragon/Fighting-Type Pokémon. Jangmo-o is another adorable baby Dragon-Type with a powerful evolution and a heartwarming design.

3 Noibat

Noibat is a Dragon/Flying-Type Pokémon that evolves into Noivern at level 48. It has large pointy ears and yellow eyes that are just the cutest! Its body and wings are small which make it a swift flyer, this combined with its powerful Dragon-Type attacks makes for an adorable powerhouse.

Any trainer that likes to collect cute Flying or Dragon-Type Pokémon will definitely want to consider adding this little bat to their Pokémon team. Who wouldn’t want an adorable little bat in their party? It makes it even better that’s it’s strong!

2 Dreepy

Dreepy is a dual Dragon/Ghost-Type Pokémon with a reptilian body. It first appeared in Pokémon Sword and Shield and its evolutionary line is one of the strongest of the new Pokémon introduced in Gen VIII. Its color scheme is green, black and red. It’s silly face and snake-like body makes for quite the cute dragon.

Dreepy is the first evolution in Dragapult’s evolutionary line. Dragapult has one of the most unique designs in Gen VIII which just adds to the reasons that any trainer should catch a Dreepy. Dreepy is one of the cutest dragons around and with its strong evolution it’s easy to see why it earns a spot on this list!

1 Applin

Applin is a cutie-fruiti Pokémon introduced in Gen VIII. It is a dual Dragon/Grass-Type and because of its appearance trainers that see it for the first time wouldn’t expect it to be a dragon type. This gives Applin an advantage in battle because it appears cute and small but in reality it is also a real toughie.

There aren’t many Pokémon based on food that can pull their look off as well as Applin, most of the time their design will end up looking lazy and poorly conceived but this pokemon is quite the cutie despite its food-based design. Because this Pokémon is so adorable and has such a strong dual Typing it earns the number one spot on this list!
