There’s no shortage of food-themed Pokémon in the franchise and fans can’t get enough of these adorable creatures. Although a lot of them are actually very powerful there are also a bunch that are extremely adorable in design. Luckily these creatures are usually easy to catch and find in the wild so players can easily acquire these sweet Pokémon!
This list will lay out some of the most adorable food-based Pokémon in the entire franchise and maybe show players a few that they didn’t know existed. From Cherubi to Swirlix, here are the 10 most adorable food-themed Pokémon of all time!
10 Cherubi
Cherries are delicious in the real world and it was an absolute sweet treat to be of the catch one of these creatures in the Pokémon video games. Although this creature leaves something to be desired in terms of strength it is still one of the cutest Pokémon around.
A cherry Pokémon was a perfect food based Pokémon and it was a fan favorite in generation 4 and will continue to be one for the rest of the franchise. This cherry is just the cutest!
9 Sinistea
Most fans were perplexed when they saw that a teacup was actually gonna be a Pokémon in the new generation. However it ended up as a pretty powerful creature that could hold its own in battle and was also extremely cute.
Most creatures can’t pull off both being unique in strength and adorable so that’s why this Pokémon earns a spot on this list. Hopefully more creatures like this one will be introduced into the series because although it was slightly weird to see a tea cup in that franchise it ended up becoming a fan favorite quickly.
8 Vanillite
Everybody loves ice cream and so when an ice cream creature was introduced into the series everyone ate it right up. Luckily this creature is also a powerful Ice-type and there aren’t many other Ice-types from the Unova region that are as powerful as this one.
Hopefully more Pokémon based on themes like this one will be added in the future because it was absolutely adorable and its evolutions were very powerful. Vanillite will go down as one of the cutest creatures in the entire franchise and also one of the most powerful Ice-types of all time.
7 Slurpuff
This cutie is absolutely adorable and fans realized it from the first time they laid eyes on it. It’s cute design and powerful move set make it a perfect candidate for any trainer to catch.
Every player once one of these on their team because it is so unique and rare to see. Any trainer should add this Pokémon to their party so that they stand out in a crowd and be seen as special during battles.
6 Milktank
Technically this cow isn’t a food itself however it does produce a ton of milk within the franchise and other Pokémon can even drink it. It is quite useful within the series and fans can even get its milk to heal their own creatures in battle.
It’s worth having this Pokémon on any trainers team because of how powerful it is despite its lack of evolution and small move set. It’s one of the most adorable creatures in the entire franchise and fans realized that early on as it was introduced in generation 2.
5 Milcery
This is another milk-based Pokémon however this one is basically just a glob of it. A glob of milk may seem like it couldn’t be a Pokémon at first glance however it is actually quite strong and has a lot of potential in battle.
Luckily it’s easy to catch and its evolution is strong so most trainers in generation 8 catch one of these for their team. Fans can’t get enough of this creature and it’s no surprise because it’s absolutely adorable.
4 Exeggcute
This collection of eggs has been around since generation 1 and it has continued to be a fan favorite despite all the new Pokémon that have been added since then. It’s Psychic-typing makes it quite powerful and its move set is very diverse in terms of different typings.
Luckily it’s also adorable so that’s just another great attribute to add to the reasons why trainers should catch it. It’s easy to find in most regions and if players don’t already have one then no they should look for one to catch ASAP because of its powerful typing and adorable look.
3 Swirlix
This collection of cotton candy is one of the best generation 6 Pokémon that was added in the Kalos region and one of the most iconic in the region. Generation 6 had a lot of forgettable creatures that it added so this was a breath of fresh air as being one of the cutest and most recognizable in all of Gen-6.
It’s easy to catch and although most trainers don’t have it because it was added late in the series it is still worth catching one. Cotton candy is a favorite food of just about everyone and this Pokémon makes it all the sweeter!
2 Applin
This little Apple is actually a Dragon-type despite how weak it may look and it’s extremely cute because of its tiny and adorable design. It’s easy enough to catch and that’s great because it’s evolutions are actually very powerful and some of the strongest in all of generation 8.
Apples are great and they keep the doctor away so having one of these on their team only promotes a trainer’s good health. Hopefully players can obtain one of these by either catching it in the wild or trading with a friend because it’s definitely worth a catch for any trainer.
1 Alcremie
This cake-themed Pokémon has its own unique Gigantamax form and a large move set that makes it one of the best candidates for a generation 8 trainer’s team. It can either easily be caught in the wild or it can be traded from a friend but either way players should obtain this one if they are trying to capture only the most powerful and adorable creatures in the region.
It’s adorable and that is easily figured out on a trainer’s first sight of it because of its infatuating creamy design and its cake-theme. Players should catch this one if they desire cute food-based Pokémon and because it’s easy to find they shouldn’t have a problem obtaining one for their party!
