The 100 Season 7 is here!

Sadly, this will be the last outing for The 100. CW President Mark Pedowitz confirmed during the network’s 2019 Summer TCA press tour appearance that The 100 season 7 will be the show’s final season, though it may live on in a prequel series.

As a midseason premiere, The 100 was one of the lucky shows to wrap up production before the COVID-19 hit, so we will be getting an entire season of the science fiction drama. Production on Season 7 started back up in August and wrapped in March, so the entire season is good to go, unlike some other CW productions that had to shut down production before the season finished.

Here’s our review of the penultimate episode, “The Dying of the Light.”

What’s next? The 100 series finale. Titled “The Last War,” the synopsis teases: “After all the fighting and loss, Clarke and her friends have reached the final battle. But is humanity worthy of something greater?” The episode will air on Wednesday, September 30th at 8pm ET and will go until 9:01pm ET, so be aware of that if you are recording it.
