Minecraft Dungeons is full of enchanted armor sets that fans can obtain while dungeon diving in the different levels within the game. Some of these unique armor pieces offer powerful effects such as damage buffs and even spawnable pets to aid players when they’re in a battle with enemies.

Some pieces of armor are more powerful than others and are only obtainable from specific locations that players will have to farm in if they wish to obtain the item for themselves. Regardless of how difficult it is to get some of these powerful armor pieces, it’s definitely worth it because of how strong they are. A lot of armor in Minecraft Dungeons can only be obtained from powerful bosses.

Updated April 24, 2021, by Michael Caruso: Minecraft Dungeons has received multiple updates and DLC packs in the past year, and with each new content update, there have been new weapons, armor, and dungeons added into the game. These DLC packs include Creeping Winter, Howling Peaks, Flames Of The Nether, and Jungle Awakens. To keep this article in line with all of the new content, here are 5 of the best new pieces of unique armor that have been added through updates and DLC packs, along with their effects and where to find them.

15 Beehive Armor

Beehive Armor was added into the game with the Lost Settlement DLC, and it is one of the best sets for players that put damage reduction above all else. Not only does beehive armor spawn in a bee when an enemy hits the player, but it also grants a 35 percent damage reduction and grants healing to players in the vicinity when a potion is used.

The Beehive Armor is found in Pumpkin Pastures, Soggy Cave, and the Lost Settlement daily trials.

14 Ghost Kindler

The Ghost Kindler armor is perfect for a pyromancer because it deals fire damage to enemies while rolling, which is a mechanic that is used frequently in Minecraft Dungeons. It also grants a 30 percent chance to negate an attack completely, which is incredibly useful for players that aren’t built like tanks.

The Ghost Kindler armor can be obtained from a few different locations; Redstone Mines, Creepy Crypt, Overgrown Temple, and Gale Sanctum.

13 Titan’s Shroud

Titan’s Shroud is a unique set of armor that has 3 very distinct effects. It grants 50 percent more souls gathered, 35 percent damage reduction, and a 20 percent boost to the weapon damage aura. These effects aren’t especially powerful by themselves; however, when they are all equipped on a single piece of armor, they are quite strong.

To obtain Titan’s Shroud, the player can farm in Underhalls, Fiery Forge, and the Lost Settlement.

12 Splendid Robe

The Splendid Robe is the perfect set of armor for battle mages in Minecraft Dungeons. It gives -40 percent artifact cooldown, 30 percent more melee damage, and 50 percent more artifact damage. The final effect is incredibly powerful while using artifacts.

There are a plethora of different locations where the Splendid Robe can be found, including Creepy Crypt, Redstone Mines, Colossal Rampart, and Frosted Fjord.

11 Hero’s Armor

There are 4 separate effects that the Hero’s Armor grants, which include 40 percent faster cooldown for potions, potions heal nearby teammates, enemies target the wearer more, and 30 percent damage reduction. This armor set also has a unique appearance as well.

Obtaining the Hero’s Armor isn’t too difficult; it can be found in Arch Haven, Lone Fortress, and Cacti Canyon.

10 Archer’s Armor

The Archer’s Armor gives the player a speed buff, more arrows in every bundle, and extra ranged damage done. This item is found while adventuring in Creeper Woods within a gold chest.

As evident by the title of this armor piece, players should use this if they are trying to build an Archer build that will utilize the bow and archery enchantments more than any other weapon at their disposal. The speed buff will be immensely useful when trying to gain distance between an enemy and the player.

9 Ember Robe

The Ember Robe gives players a movement speed buff, artifact cooldown bonus, and it burns enemies that are in the range of the player for extra damage. This item is found as loot within Soggy Swamp, Obsidian Pinnacle, and Soggy Cave.

The most notable part of this armor piece is the fact that it burns enemies that get close to the player, which is a unique effect that the Ember Robe is known for. Fans that are looking for a fire mage build should use the ember robe without a doubt.

8 Spider Armor

The Spider Armor gives players a life steal aura enchantment and makes melee weapon attacks faster. This item can be found as loot while exploring the Desert Temple or Redstone mines.

The life steal aura on the Spider Armor will be immensely helpful when dealing with large swarms of enemies, and the faster melee attacks will aid players that use heavier and slower to swing weapons.

7 Stalwart Armor

The effects on the Stalwart Armor boosts defense when a potion is used, a large damage reduction buff, a chance to negate enemy attacks entirely, and a negative trait: twice as long dodge roll cool down. Stalwart Armor has a chance to drop as loot in Fiery Forge.

Unfortunately, the twice as long dodge roll cooldown will only be a negative effect; however, the positive effects on this item make up for the downsides of the Stalwart Armor. The most notable thing about the Stalwart Armor is the defense boost when a potion is used because when a player uses a potion, they usually need a little bit of time to center themselves since their health was very low.

6 Cave Crawler

The Cave Crawler set gives players a damage increase aura, a large increase in damage dealt with artifacts, and it also gives the player a pet bat to fight for them in combat. Players should farm Redstone Mines and Cacti Canyon to obtain this item.

The amount of extra damage that players will gain from the Cave Crawler item allows for swift takedowns of more tanky enemies, and the pet bat is a completely unique feature that players will only gain when they wear this armor. Players that enjoy using pets in Minecraft Dungeons should farm for this item.

5 Fox Armor

The Fox Armor gives players a chance to avoid attacks, boost the damage aura, and using health potions will heal allies within the player’s vicinity as well. Redstone Mines, Creeper Woods, and Moo! all have a chance to drop the Fox Armor.

The Fox Armor is great for a speedy character that enjoys using swiftness to entirely dodge enemy attacks. The damage boost and healing allies with potion effects will also be helpful when players are trying to aid their teammates in combat.

4 Frost Bite

The Frost Bite armor grants players extra ranged damage with bows, extra souls collected upon the death of enemies, and allows the player to use a spawnable Snow Golem to fight by their side. Players can obtain this item from loot within Soggy Cave, Redstone Mines, and Creepy Crypt.

The Frost Bite armor is great for dealing extra damage with the bow weapon and collecting souls from defeated enemies; however, the best part of this armor is the snow golem that spawns when players are in need of help. The Frost Bite armor is yet another great item that players that want more pets should use.

3 Wither Armor

The Wither Armor gives players 100% more souls per enemy dead, a life steal aura, and a large damage reduction buff during combat. Players can farm Obsidian Pinnacle and Desert Temple to obtain the Wither Armor.

The extra souls collected and life steal Aura are common on armor enchantments; however, the damage reduction buff is one of the best parts of the Wither Armor, and fans should farm it if they are looking for a tanky item with no downside.

2 Renegade Armor

The Renegade Armor grants players a damage reduction buff, faster attacks with melee weapons, and a damage buff aura around the player. Arch Haven, Fiery Forge, and Cacti Canyon all drop the Renegade Armor.

The Renegade Armor is useful for players that deal lots of damage with only a few swings of their weapon and also for players that are trying to build a character that deals more damage than they can take because of effects such as the damage buff aura.

1 Highland Armor

The Highland Armor grants a melee weapon damage buff, a damage reduction effect, and gives the player faster movement speed for a few seconds after dodge rolling. Pumpkin Pastures and Fiery Forge are where adventurers can farm for a chance to get their hands on this armor.

The Highland armor is considered to be one of the best armor pieces in Minecraft Dungeons because of its unique effect to offer much faster speed after dodge rolling combined with the extra damage and damage reduction effects. Farming for the Highland armor is worth it, even if it does take a while to get the perfect piece, because it is definitely one of the best items in the game.
