Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale Apex Legends has an iconic cast of characters that players can choose from with different abilities, cosmetics, and lore. With Loba’s vicious rivalry with fellow competitor Revenant, she became a prime candidate for players who like a hero with a little more backstory. When Respawn released the cinematic showing the simulacrum Revenant killing Loba Andrade’s family, it was almost a guarantee that Loba would find her way into the game.

Even though she grew up picking pockets, Loba eventually made a life for herself, moving past the trauma of her childhood. It wasn’t until she saw Revenant competing in the Apex Games that thoughts of vengeance flared in her. Joining the Apex Games herself, she vowed to find a way to end the simulacrum for good. Loba has an immediately unique design, and there have been numerous cosplayers who have wanted to give their take on Apex Legends’ femme fatale.

Angelic Angie as Bootlegger Loba

Angelic Angie is a Twitch streamer and content creator who often cosplays as Loba, both on stream and off. She may be a variety streamer, but Apex Legends is Angie’s bread and butter. This streamer’s skin of choice? That would, of course, be the Legendary Bootlegger Loba, which many players may think is one of the best skins in Apex Legends. She nails the details in her cosplay, from the leather vest, to the blonde hair, and even the little top hat.

Sosenka as Classic Loba

Sosenka is a professional SFX makeup artist, as well as an avid cosplayer. She has taken on the identities of characters like Yennefer from The Witcher games, 2B from NieR: Automata, and K/DA Evelynn from League of Legends. Sosenka’s makeup skills are impressive, and her cosplay as Loba is also striking. It is apparent that Sosenka put a lot of effort into the ensemble, especially with the accurate wolf-headed staff that functions as Loba’s Black Market Boutique.

Sydeon as Classic Loba

Sydeon, or Sydney, is a professional model, content creator, and Twitch Partner that loves anything related to superheroes, magic, and science fiction. Previously, Sydeon has cosplayed as Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender, Diana and Kai’sa from League of Legends, and the Omega-level mutant Storm from Marvel Comics fame. She exudes Loba’s attitude, while also rocking an incredible getup of Loba’s classic look.

OPG Taya as Classic Loba

OPG Taya is a self-proclaimed Loba main, and likes to cosplay as the High Society Thief when she isn’t streaming on Twitch. Taya is a proponent of body positivity, and shows that anyone can get into the cosplay scene, no matter what others might say. Besides making some comedic content as Loba, Taya also nails her iconic eyeshadow.

Wraiith as Casual Loba

While Wraiith might say she is officially retired from the cosplay scene, that doesn’t stop her from portraying different characters when she wants. This casual look shows off another side of the infamous burglar, while still keeping the attitude one would expect from Ms. Andrade. Even though Wraith might not be the most popular pick anymore, that hasn’t stopped this gamer from maining Wraith along with Loba.

Hannah Stocking as Classic Loba

Rounding out this list of great cosplays is none other than Hannah Stocking, a content creator and influencer that is part of Shots Studios, a mobile-first media company. Stocking has an impressive video detailing the process of creating the elegant pieces for Loba’s iconic look. However, it’s still Stocking’s personality that helps make her cosplay epic. The video shows off Stocking as she poses in several familiar Loba poses, looking almost indistinguishable from the model in the game.

There are plenty of great cosplayers for Apex Legends characters, and these are just a few of those who decided to embody The High Society Thief herself. Even from these cosplays, its goes to show that the developers struck gold when designing Loba around Catwoman, the WWE, Shakira, and more inspirations. As Apex Legends releases more cosmetics for Loba in the game, it won’t be surprising if more players try their hand at cosplaying her.

Apex Legends is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and will release for the Switch on March 9.
