This co-op cartoony survival game has been an instant hit for groups of friends– but what about all those fans who have exhausted their time with the Hello Neighbor franchise?
There’s more cartoonish-horror fun to be had! No need to go out searching for the next hit game among your friends, because they’re hiding in plain sight. Hello Neighbor scratches a unique co-op itch that few games do, but it’s hardly the only multiplayer game of its kind.
10 The Blackout Club
The Blackout Club has a similar gameplay style to Hello Neighbor and Friday the 13th. A group of teenagers try to escape and complete missions while a dark enemy stalks in the night. The enemy can only be seen by closing your eyes, making tackling and escaping it all the more treacherous.
There can be up to four players in multiplayer. Players can level up their characters with unlockable abilities and customize them with unlockable outfits and emotes. With generated loot, enemies, and objectives, The Blackout Club offers a fun and interesting experience.
9 Grounded
Grounded is a quirky game where up to four adventurous kids can traverse the garden alongside ants and spiders. It’s similar to Hello Neighbor in its cartoon graphics style and survival aspect.Grounded is more of a survival-crafting game than a survival horror. Build a base, explore the story of being shrunk, and collect items. There are some horror elements if you decide to try and kill a spider. Or if the spider finds you itself.
8 Ben And Ed
This is a goofy parkour adventure where the player controls a zombie named Ed who must succeed in various obstacle courses in order to save his friend. His friend being Ben, a little boy in a cage. The rag-doll effect Ed’s body has is sure to keep anyone entertained as well as the fast quips and colorful aesthetics. Don’t worry if you lose a limb or two, though, Ed can still go on! He’s a zombie, after all.
7 Witch It
Witch It is an early access hide-and-seek game with up to four players on each team. There is a team of witches whose job is to hide, and a team of hunters who must seek and capture all witches.
Hunters are equipped with different long-ranged weapons to aid them in capture while witches have the ability to use magic and turn into props! Mask in with the eccentric environment and be extra quiet.
6 Unfortunate Spacemen
Murder mystery, but in space. A group of up to 16 spacemen wander through dreary and damp environments trying to complete various objectives while also being on the lookout for the traitor. One of the spacemen is not a man at all, but a monster! Unfortunate Spacemen is a free-to-play game with a main story, various side objectives, and an in game voice chat where player’s voices dissipate the farther you are from them.
5 Scrap Mechanic
Scrap Mechanic is a vivid survival game that is in early access. Players can build more than your average home or furnace like in other survival sandbox’s because they’re taking on the roles of trained mechanics. Create & customize your own builder and traverse the lands full of enemies & loot while creating revolutionary technology to make adventuring easier.
4 Raft
Survive in the middle of the ocean with up to two other players in Raft. Craft, build, and farm to stay alive and make ocean-living doable. Thirst and hunger aren’t the only threat. Sharks and other creatures of the sea might be curious in the strange floating object above water. The visuals offer a calming color palette, but all that calm might soon fade when the shark attacks or you lose a friend at sea!
3 Somewhere Inside
Somewhere Inside is a stealth, team versus game set in a dark dungeon. A team of burning skeletons must protect ancient crypts and burn everything that is a threat. A team of noble and brave knights must raid the dungeon quietly & skillfully in order to complete their mission.
Somewhere Inside is an affordable, small hide-and-seek game for a small group of friends.
2 We Were Here Together
We Were Here Together is an escape room puzzle game where two people must communicate via a walky-talky. Explore old and abandoned facilities riddled with complex and ancient puzzles to complete. There is no single player mode for this game and it’s up to both players to test their communication and cooperative skills.

Astroneer is an open world game with up to four players who can all be astronauts exploring various planets together! There are up to seven different planets filled with dangerous fauna and temperatures. These planets have unique technology that the player can explore to learn more about. It’s a game about exploration and building more than surviving one single enemy. Terraform and build your way to civilization and the truth.
