Following the livestream presentation of the upcoming Update 27 in the Elder Scrolls Online, new dungeons were revealed alongside the next stage of the Dark Heart of Skyrim storyline. In the Stonethorn DLC, adventurers will have the opportunity to explore two new five-person dungeons that build upon the narrative that has developed throughout the year.

New Dungeons To Conquer

First up is Castle Thorn, filled with Vampire-type enemies and led by the powerful Lady Thorn. This narrative has been in the works for some time, and Lady Thorn is ready to invade Skyrim and destroy everything in her path, which is why players need to fight through the hordes of monsters to put a stop to those plans before it is too late.

Following this, players will need to deal with the evil machinations of Alchemist Arkasis in the Stone Garden, the second dungeon coming with the update. Deep inside the caverns of Blackreach, the Alchemist works on creating powerful and dark abominations, once again putting players to the test to stop this evil genius from releasing his creations into the world.

Both dungeons look fantastic, and now we need only wait a little while to learn what new sets can be found inside, along with new questlines, achievements, and collectibles.

Building The Perfect Homestead

Without a doubt, one of the additions to the game for those who love their player housing is the addition of Character Pathing. Players can build paths for the residents of a home, which extends beyond assistants to pets, and even mounts. This is done by laying out specific locations, known as nodes, for each path, and then selecting walk speed, delays, and more. From there, players can set their walking routes to be random or predetermined.

In smaller housing, this is not going to make much of a difference, but in the larger housing with multiple buildings and floors, this is sure to be a great addition that will make each home feel far more personalized and lived in. Finally, our Bankers and Auction assistants will do more than simply stand in a single spot like unmoving mannequins!

As part of the year-long Dark Heart of Skyrim adventure, the Stonehorn DLC game pack will arrive not long from now for PC, Ps4, Xbox One, and Stadia.
