Bethesda’s MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online is coming to Stadia June 16th and Pro subscribers will get to play the game for free.

Like the pseudo-MMO Destiny 2, which arrived with Stadia Pro at launch, The Elder Scrolls Online will launch on Stadia with both cross-play support and cross-progression. That means that players will be able to play with their PC friends on Stadia, and if players already have characters on the PC version, they can continue right where they left off on Stadia.

The Elder Scrolls Online doesn’t require a subscription to play, rather, players who own the base game can play all of the content from the original release of the game, and can purchase new expansions as they release. ESO does offer a monthly subscription, called ESO Plus, that gives players access to all of the DLC packs, unlimited storage, free crowns (the in-game currency), and more.

The Stadia launch will coincide with a new DLC expansion for the game. Called Greymoor, the title update takes players to Western Skyrim where they will need to face down a powerful Vampire Lord in the Dark Heart of Skyrim. The 2nd of 4 planned DLC expansions for 2020, Greymoor is sure to be a thrilling gothic adventure.
