The Last of Us Part 2 is the sequel to one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time and as a result fans have had differing opinions on the new title. While reviews of The Last of Us 2 have been positive some fans feel that the game had questionable choices in terms of narrative and game mechanics. Nonetheless, plenty of fans are enjoying the title and are keen to reunite Ellie with her signature silent weapon.
There are plenty of weapons to be found and used in the game, but fans would be disappointed not to find the weapon that featured in The Last of Us 2 trailer. While guns can be loud and effective because of their ability to rapidly fire, the bow allows players to take a stealth approach and use the element of surprise against enemies. Finding the bow and arrow is not too difficult, but players should be prepared to search and kill enemies to get the item which will help in stealth situations.
How to find the Bow and Arrow
Players can get hold of the Bow in Seattle on Day 2 and players need to head to the garage in the area to begin finding the weapon. Once players have arrived at the garage they need to head to the open area that has numerous dystopian shops. Across from the Shear Lux Hair salon, players should notice the Pet Boutique & Grooming store. Once players enter the pet store they should begin to tread carefully as on the other side of the exploded wall is a pub with a new type of enemy in The Last of Us 2, a Shambler. Once in the pub players need to go through the yellow doors and outside. After going through the exploded path and outside, players will need to go up a staircase and they will likely notice a skeleton at the beginning of them with arrows in it. These arrows can be picked up and also lets players know the bow is close.
Players need to pick up the arrows and head up the stairs and fight some infected who are waiting. Players should equip a shotgun at this point as when players continue through a hole in the back of the house they will be ambushed by one of the infected. Using dodges, shotgun fires and any other weapons players have found in The Last of Us 2, players should be able to defeat the foe who is waiting for them and will simply need to loot the enemy for the bow.
When leaving the area players should loot all they can as they will not be able to return to this area in the game. From this point, players will be able to use the bow to stealthily take out the variety of new enemies that appear in The Last of Us 2.
