There are 286 collectibles to find throughout The Last of Us Part 2, so that means those completionists out there will have to do quite a bit of exploring to collect them all. Since there are way too many to list all at once, let’s focus on the collectibles you can find during the Road to the Aquarium portion of Day 3.

In total, there are 4 Trading Cards, 3 Artifacts, 2 Workbenches, and 1 Journal Entry to find on the Road to the Aquarium. This list will help guide you to each of these collectibles in order so you don’t have to backtrack.

10 Trading Card 1/4 - Esquire

You’ll be able to find the first collectible of this level almost immediately. When Ellie wakes up in the theater, head out of the room to find yourself in the backstage portion of the theater.

Head to the curtain leading out into the auditorium and make a left and walk toward the mannequins creepily lurking in the dark. You’ll find the Trading Card for Esquire sitting on the table of the control booth.

9 Workbench 1/2

The first of only two workbenches in the Road to the Aquarium can be found in the WPL building that you can access from the streets of Seattle.

Once inside, head to the back of the store where you’ll find a break room connected to a hallway. Take that hallway to the second door on the right, the door with a fallen shelf blocking the way in. Crawl under it and you’ll find the workbench on the far side of the room.

8 Trading Card 2/4 - Tormentra

There’s not much to say about this one because you can find the Trading Card for Tormentra in the same room as the workbench in the previous entry.

The Trading Card is sitting on a desk directly opposite from the workbench.

7 Artifact 1/3 - Garage Note

Later on, in the car park filled with Clickers (the one marked with a No Entry sign from outside), you’ll be able to find the first artifact.

Once you deal with the Clickers, follow the path around to a ledge. You’ll be ambushed by even more Clickers but once they’re dealt with, you’ll find the Garage Note at the edge of the ledge overlooking the entrance.

6 Trading Card 3/4 - Tanager

The third Trading Card of the level can be found in the large bookstore. Head down to the bottom floor of the bookstore. When you get down there, turn to face the huge platform of stone you landed on to get here.

On either side you’ll see that some shelves and debris under the stone platform create a sort of tunnel. Crawl on through this makeshift tunnel to the end and you’ll find the Trading Card for Tanager on the bottom of one of the shells.

5 Journal Entry

The only Journal Entry on the Path to the Aquarium is also found in the bookstore.

While you’re on the bottom floor of the bookstore, head to the children’s section. Look around for an Alice in Wonderland mural that you’ll be able to interact with, and Ellie will enter a new entry in her journal.

4 Artifact 2/3 - Bookstore Note

Another entry that doesn’t require much guidance because it’s in the same area as the Journal Entry you just found.

From the Alice in Wonderland mural, head directly opposite from it to a table near some plastic mushrooms. Among the piles of books on that table, you’ll find the Bookstore Note, a page from a children’s book with a conversation written on the back between a mother and child.

3 Artifact 3/3 - Textile Note

The final Artifact, the Textile Note, can be found in the Boba Pals building. To get there, however, you’re going to have to fight through some Wolves. The building itself is found past some tarp-covered scaffolding.

Once in the building, head upstairs via the stairs at the back of the store and walk toward the windows. Alternatively, you could climb the scaffolding to get to the second floor. Either way, taped to the wall in between two windows is the Textile Note, a note written by one of the Wolves who deserted to join up with the Scars.

2 Workbench 2/2

The final Workbench on the Road to the Aquarium is found along the critical path. As you’re progressing through this level, you’ll eventually find yourself in a ruined department store filled with mannequins.

Head past the creepy mannequins and go down the hallway of the collapsed building. When you find a room covered in moss and filled with equipment, you’ve found the right room. Inside the moss-covered room you’ll find the last Workbench of the level, so be sure to use this opportunity to upgrade your weapons before continuing on.

1 Trading Card 4/4 - Tatuaje

The final Trading Card and last collectible to find on the Road to the Aquarium, you’ll find this Trading Card toward the end of the level. After the cutscene where Ellie and Jesse decide to steal a boat, follow Jesse to a wrecked building.

When you go down into a cramped, ruined area, you should see a wooden counter right when he descends into this room. Hop over the counter and turn around to find the Trading Card for Tatuaje on the shelf of the counter.
