The Last Of Us Part II has a photo mode that fans are using to take some absolutely incredible in-game screenshots.

Naughty Dog’s recently-released sequel to the outrageously successful The Last Of Us has truly fired up the gaming community, as expected, with many people of the opinion that it’s actually really, really bad. Amongst the reasons for this is the game’s alleged politically controversial story decisions.

While critics have generally awarded the game some stellar reviews, gamers in the broader audience have been comparatively scathing in their feedback. It’s really quite astonishing just how divisive opinions have been, if the scores of Metacritic are anything to go by: an overall score of 94% according to critics, but an average user score of only 4.8.

But besides all that, many would still be inclined to agree that the visuals are positively spectacular. The first game - which debuted in 2013 - already left people with dropped jaws for this same reason, and now seven years later, the devs’ efforts to take that to the next level is evident. It’s a game that lends itself perfectly to capturing elegantly poignant, gorgeously detailed moments that in and of themselves are like works of art.
