The next event in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is bringing back the days of the Nintendo 64, as characters who appeared in N64 games will be appearing on the Spirit Board and offering more experience points than usual.
According to the SmashBrosJP Twitter page, the N64 Spirit Board event will run from June 5 to June 7. During this time, characters will appear on a set schedule and will allow players to battle/acquire them. The people who conquer the N64 spirits will receive a times 6.4 bonus to their experience points.
The list of spirits includes Deku Link, the Happy Mask Salesman, and the Postman from The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, Malon from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Saki Amamiya from Sin and Punishment, Blargg and Don Bongo from Yoshi’s Story, Flare from Custom Robo, and Chunky Kong, Lanky Kong, and Tiny Kong from Donkey Kony 64. The battles will include Donkey Kong as Tiny Kong, Mii Gunner for Saki Amamiya, and Princess Zelda for Malon. It’s possible that other characters will be added to the event as well when it launches.
